At Beijing Eye we always seem to be given good excuses to escape the cold Beijing winter weather. In February it was the stills for the Yili Milk that gave us the green light to fly South.
Photographer: Quentin Shih
For this job we had asked our old time partner-in-crime Quentin Shih to shoot. We arrived in Bangkok a few days prior to the shoot day to get the last pre-production details settled such as coordination of equipment, wardrobe, transportation, creative crew etc.
On the day of the shoot we set out from the hotel at 3am in the morning and arrived at the location, a lonely beach outside of Bangkok, around 3 hours later. The weather was cloudy so we crossed our fingers that it wouldn’t start raining. Luckily under Quentin’s experienced hand we ended the shoot by late afternoon just before it started raining.
